These terms govern how a business ("you" — a clinic, spa, salon, or other service provider) uses Velura's SMS / messaging features to text its own customers. Velura provides the messaging platform; the business is the sender and end business for its customers. Customer-facing data handling is described in the Privacy Policy; the customer SMS consent model is described in the SMS Consent & Messaging Policy.

1. Permitted use

Velura messaging is for operational communication only — transactional, informational, appointment-related, service-related, and customer-caremessages to a business's own customers (for example, appointment confirmations, reminders, rescheduling updates, cancellation notices, and replies to customer questions).

2. Not part of the MVP

The following are not part of the Velura messaging MVP and are not permitted through the platform:

  • Marketing, promotions, discounts, or sales offers
  • Newsletters or recurring promotional content
  • Cold outreach to people who are not existing customers
  • Bulk or list-based campaigns (e.g., "message all clients")

Marketing messaging and the separate consent and registration it requires are out of scope for the current product.

3. Business responsibilities

A business using Velura messaging is responsible for:

  • Obtaining and retaining valid consent from each customer before messaging them
  • The content and accuracy of the messages it sends
  • Any customer contacts it imports or migrates, including their consent and phone-number accuracy
  • Using messaging only for the permitted purposes above and in compliance with applicable law and carrier rules

4. STOP / HELP

Customers can reply STOP at any time to opt out, and HELPto get assistance and the business's contact information. Honoring opt-outs is required; Velura supports STOP/HELP handling and suppresses messages to customers who have opted out.

5. Suspension

Velura may suspend or disable a business's messaging access for actual or suspected violations of these terms, applicable law, or carrier / messaging-provider policies, or to protect against carrier or account-security risk.

6. Opt-in data and privacy

SMS opt-in information and consent are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
